I love football which makes my hubby love me even more! Score 1 for me! When we have a big game coming on, we try to easy foods so that we aren't in the kitchen instead of watching the game. Here is a family favorite:
Pigs in a Pig:
2 packages of Lil' Smokies(any flavor)
2 packages sliced bacon(cut into 3rds)
1/2 cup of brown sugar
Line a baking pan with aluminum foil. Then, take each individual smokie and wrap it in a third of the bacon. Place it in the pan. When all the smokies are wrapped and placed closely next to one another. Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake on 375 for about 20 minutes.
We like these cause they aren't messy and my kids won't eat pigs in a blanket so I improvised. And let's be honest, who doesn't like anything wrapped in bacon?

A recipe blog for those who seek to serve the Lord by providing home-cooked meals for their families. The meals don't have to be fancy. They don't have to be gourmet. They don't even have to be "made from scratch." They just have to be made with love. :)
